List of Culinary School Scholarships
A number of educational scholarships are available to those working in the culinary and hospitality industry. Contact information is included with a brief description of each scholarship.
The American Academy of Chefs Chaine des Rotisseurs Scholarship
The American Academy of Chefs offers Chaine des Rotisseurs scholarships, awarded annually on a competitive basis. Scholarships are available to exemplary students currently enrolled in a full-time two-year culinary program.
The American Academy of Chefs Chair's Scholarship
The American Academy of Chefs offers fiveChair's scholarships, awarded annually on a competitive basis. Scholarships are available to exemplary students currently enrolled in a full-time two- or four-year culinary program. Sponsored and administered by The American Academy of Chefs, the scholarships provide culinary students assistance toward covering the cost of culinary programs. Five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded within The American Academy of Chefs regions this year. The American Academy of Chefs Scholarship Committee will make the selections and announce the recipients by September 30th of each year.
The American Academy of Chefs Julia Child Memorial Scholarships
The American Academy of Chefs is offering five Julia Child Memorial scholarships, awarded on a competitive basis. Scholarships are available to exemplary students currently enrolled in a full-time two- or four-year culinary program. Sponsored and administered by The American Academy of Chefs, the scholarships provide culinary students assistance toward covering the cost of culinary programs. $1,000 scholarships will be awarded within The American Academy of Chefs regions during 2012. The American Academy of Chefs Scholarship Committee will make the selections and announce the recipients by September 30.
Spice Box Grant Application
The American Academy of Chefs is now offering grants to professional working chefs. Grants are available to chefs that are certified by the American Culinary Federation as a Certified Chef D’Cuisine or higher; Enrolled in a state accredited culinary college for the purpose of enhancing culinary skills which will assist you in your employment. This does not include seminars and must be for college credit; Be an Active Member of the American Culinary Federation in good standing for 5 or more consecutive years.
Ventura Foods/Culinary Institute of America
CIA and Ventura Foods Offer Continuing Education to Academy of Chefs Fellows - Fellows of the American Academy of Chefs (AAC), the honor society of ACF, may participate in online professional-development courses through The Culinary Institute of America's (CIA) MenuMasters® Center for Menu Research and Development, as well as receive full-tuition scholarships through Brea, Calif.-based Ventura Foods, LLC.
Scholarships for full tuition will be awarded by the AAC Education Committee to qualified AAC fellows. In addition, ACF members who are not fellows of the Academy are invited to participate in the online courses and may be eligible for partial scholarships. Certificates will be awarded to all who successfully complete all four courses.
AAC fellows should visit www.ciaprochef.com/menumasters for more info and to register for courses; to apply for a full-tuition scholarship, fellows should submit a completed application to the ACF national office. ACF members who are not members of the Academy and wish to register for courses or apply for a partial scholarship should visit www.ciaprochef.com/menumasters.

National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF)
Three scholarships for high school seniors and undergraduate students specializing in foodservice, hospitality management, culinary arts, food technology, dietetics, and related degrees.
